We have a husband & wife team that is just rocking the world of wines...Andy Erickson and Annie Favia of Favia Wines will be here to host our dinner at Vino's.
Favia Erickson Winegrowers is a collaboration between Annie Favia and Andy Erickson. Their philosophy is simple: create soulful wines that express the true nature of the vineyards from which they come. They focus on finding unique vineyard sites with soils, climate and aspects ideal for growing exquisite wine grapes, and develop strong relationships with winegrowers to perfect viticultural practices. In the winery, they carefully coax the grapes into wine. Gentle handling, minimal intervention, and strict monitoring of the wine allow the grapes to speak for themselves.

Husband & Wife Team of Andy Erickson and Annie Favia will be here to pour some great wines from their Winery.
Andy Erickson has lived and worked in Napa Valley since 1994. As a winemaker, his goal is to highlight the character of each of the unique vineyard sites with which he works, whether at his clients' estate vineyards, or the vineyards that produce the Favia wines. Andy has a Master’s degree in Enology from University of California in Davis, and has made wines in California, Chile, and Argentina. His current winemaking clients include Screaming Eagle, Dalla Valle, Arietta, Ovid, and Dancing Hares in the Napa Valley. Andy also consults for Jonata in the Santa Ynez Valley. His past experience includes work at Staglin Family Vineyard, Harlan Estate, Spottswoode, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, and Newton Vineyard.
Annie Favia began her wine career at Newton Vineyards working under John Konsgaard, who exposed her to art and science of winemaking. Then she went to work for Cathy Corison, who taught her that women can do anything. While working for Cathy, Annie found that she liked working in the vineyards and went back to school to study viticulture. She met David Abreau while working in Cathy's crush pad and went to work for David Abreau's Vineyard management company.
